Who we are

Click and Travel Ltd. is a small, well-established travel company in Chiang Mai that specialises in soft-adventure cycling tours and cycling holidays. It is owned and run by Etienne Daniëls and his Thai wife, who have offered cycling tours in Chiang Mai since 2000.

Before that, Etienne worked for many years in Thailand for Belgian and Dutch travel companies, and he used that experience to build one of the leading cycling tour companies in the city. The company has run hundreds of tours for thousands of guests, from seven to seventy-seven years old.

Why this site exists

The company was founded to offer visitors an alternative to the usual tours and to set an ecologically sound example. This guide follows the same idea: plenty of cyclists want to ride on their own, and they deserve good, free information on where to go, where to fix a bike and where to rent one.

We list other tour operators and every bike shop we know of, not just our own services. If something here is out of date, please tell us.

Local people, local knowledge

Click and Travel employs local guides, bicycle mechanics and drivers, and has become a familiar part of the tourism industry and the communities it rides through in Chiang Mai and northern Thailand.
